Arts Thrive

Dare to Dream Theatre is thankful for so many wonderful things:

In 2022:

-We were able to safely return to the stage after 2 years of dark stages.

-We worked directly with over 150 young people through onstage activities (Winnie the Pooh KIDS, Moana JR, Freaky Friday, and three summer camps)

-We spread joy through performances to over 2000 audience members

-We were blessed to collaborate with 18 organizations in the community (and state) through community events, summer camps, consultation, and interactive programming

-We built relationships and worked directly with 32 theatre and education professionals in Wisconsin and across the United States

In 2023:

-Our Winter show (Jungle Book KIDS) featured a cast of 30 young performers age 3-14

-Our Spring show (Finding Nemo JR)  featured a cast of 64 performers age 3-14

-Tuck Everlasting featured a cast of 19 advanced performers and a live orchestra.

-Summer Mini Musical Camp (Finding Nemo KIDS) provided opportunities for 32 performers age 18 and under to get involved onstage, offstage, and in production team roles

-In the Fall, Fancy Nancy the Musical featured 2 casts and welcomed school and public audiences.

2024 we welcomed individuals of all ages onstage, offstage, in the audience and through non traditional programming. :

-We presented a FULL season of musicals, plays, camps, community collaborations, and educational partnerships in our community.

-The Student Theatre Celebration featured students from the area showcasing their accomplishments in school and community theatre at The Weill Center April 13 2024 and welcomed Broadway and Hollywood star Timothy Hughes to Sheboygan to inspire participants and lead a dance workshop.

In 2025 we look forward to

-another FULL season of musicals, plays, camps, community collaborations and educational partnerships in our community.

- bringing a small team of young performers to present a 15 minute cutting of “Wizard of Oz Young Performers Edition”

-Fall onstage opportunities will provide a chance for beginning and advanced performers to showcase their talents onstage and through many non traditional programming opportunities.

Your investment will help us continue to provide access to families and individuals from all walks of life, means, and backgrounds to experience the joy of theatre!
